Entrance To Min Tet Primary School And The Perak Ka Yin Association Premises, Ipoh
These three photographs show various views of the entrance to Min Tet Primary School, which was also the main entrance to the Perak Ka Yin Association offices and other rooms. On the right is a general view of the ornamental fence and gate, while the centre picture shows a close-up view of the gate, behind which (and to the left) can be seen the elegant main door with its decorative glass panels. Sadly these have all disappeared in the name of development.
These gates and door were an integral part of the original Perak Ka Yin Association building taken over by the association in 1900, as a set of shoplots.
