The Jennings' Collection : The Ipoh Floods 1919 (1)
Here is a series of photographs sent to us by Nicholas Jennings. These were either taken by Nicholas’ grandfather - J A S Jennings, Editor of Times of Malaya - or by one of the photographers for the newspaper.
The pictures show who we believe to be J A S Jennings seated in a rickshaw, with the Whiteaway Laidlaw building and Georgetown Chemist (Chung Thye Phin building) in the background.
