Charles Alma Baker's Certificate Of Title
This is a title deed recording the agreement between the government of the state of Perak and the Kinta Valley Estate where this particular deed was signed on the 20th of January 1933 at Taiping. As Charles Alma Baker's house was built around 1905 in the estate, we believe this title deed to be a renewal of the lease on the land after a 30 year lease period where the annual rent of leasing the land would have increased from the previous agreement.
The annual rent would be at $5430.30cts for the 1357 acres of land by Tanjung Tualang. This particular title deed cancels out the preceding certificate which was signed.
