The pictures show an invitation to a cocktail party. This party was held in conjunction with the opening of the Teluk Anson branch of Malayan Banking Limited. This event took place 29th July 1961. The branch was officially opened by His Royal Highness Raja Idris Shah ibni Al-Marhom Sultan Iskandar Shah - the Crown Prince (Raja Muda) of Perak. The invitation, written in 3 languages, was sent to Mr and Mrs Caldwell (parents of our Donor).
