The pictures show a certificate of competency issued by the Federation of Malaya Government to Roderick Alastair Caldwell (of Paisley, Scotland). R A Caldwell was a Dredge Master for Killinghall Tin Ltd, in Puchong, Selangor. He later worked at the Selaba Estate in Teluk Anson (now Teluk Intan).
