Scenes From The Ipoh High Court
The first picture shows Lady Justice - which can be seen on the outer wall of the first floor, of the Ipoh High Court (the wall which faces the flag poles).
The second picture shows a trap door, which opens to a tunnel, found on the floor of the court room. During the Emergency, this tunnel was used to move prisoners from temporary lock ups in the Town Hall (which functioned as a police station back then) to the court house. The prisoners were from the Taiping and Batu Gajah prisons. Today, however, the tunnel doesn't go all the way as most of the path has been blocked.
