Lot 32630 Of Greentown
The photographs in this entry are those of a plot of land in Greentown, known as Lot 32630. These photographs were taken by Darren Teh, whose family used stay in one of the units numbered B back in the 60's. The house that his family stayed in comprised of 4 single storey residential units, 2 units with 2 houses linked together. According to Darren, the other residential units also comprised of the 4 residential units as seen in the first photograph, these residential units are located behind the Syeun Hotel. The plot of land on which Syeun is sited was formerly 'Poh Garden'.
He believes that the images in the two photographs are what remains of the Old Greentown before it was extensively developed to the point he is unable to visualize how the Old Greentown used to look like, with the government quarters, trees and green fields.
