The Diaries Of George C. Woolley (Volume 1: 1901-1907)
George Cathcart Woolley was a former British North Borneo Company administrator. This first volume of his diaries covers Woolley's first tour of duty in British North Borneo and his first furlough in England. This book also includes photographs, appropriate annotations, a glossary and a people list to guide, inform and assist the reader to better understand and appreciate Woolley's text. The release of this publication also coincided with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Sabah Museum in 1965.
