The items in this entry are those of a photograph of a working dredge that was used in a tin mine nearby Ipoh. In the photograph are three men walking in different directions with the dredge in the background.

On the back of the photo is a description of the photo that was written to Ross by John Grigsby of The Age, Melbourne on the 20th of December 1955.

"A dredge used in tin mining shown at work near Ipoh, Perak. The dredging goes on for twenty four hours a day - a shift is going off duty and some of the Chinese labourers are making their way across sand banked up in the mining pool." was his description of the photograph.

The photograph also has a stamp on the back dated 14th November 1984 accompanied by the words Financial Review.
