2 Tin Plate Licenses For Keeping Rubber
The pictures show two tin plate licenses for keeping rubber, from the 1980s. The first picture is dated 1984 while the second one is dated 1983. Both these licenses were from the area known as Perak Tengah or Central Perak, and were most likely from a rubber godown (warehouse).
The Central Perak District Council was formed in 1979, and among the towns within it were:
- Parit
- Kampung Buluh Akar
- Tanjung Belanja
- Bota Kanan
- Seri Iskandar
- Titi Gantung
- Kampung Gajah
The whole of Central Perak is about 1282.05 square kilometres, and borders Kuala Kangsar in the south, Kinta in the east, and Manjong in the west. Read more here.
