First introduced on the 50th anniversary of Canon in 1987, the EOS 650 is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera. Being the first camera in Canon's new EOS series, it was designed from scratch to support autofocus lenses. The camera was later discontinued in 1989, two years after its launch.
This particular unit also came with a detachable pouch that could be attached onto the camera.
