A copper disc souvenir (fourth picture), to commemorate the opening of the Mamut Mine, in Sabah. This mine was officially opened on 14 May 1975. The design sybolises the soaring heights of Mount Kinabalu - which is the highest mountain in South East Asia.
We have two such souvenirs in our collection.
