The pictures show the front and back of a Polaroid MiniPortrait 403 camera. It was tagged as an  'Instant' camera as it developed and printed the photographs internally. It was manufactured in Japan by Polaroid Corp. Some of the features of this model include:

  • built-in flash
  • 4 lenses; hence 4 images per sheet (each image measures 8.5 cm x 10.8 cm)
  • f/8.0 aperture lens
  • 4 ft minimum focal distance (click here for more features)

 

The prime function of this camera was to take four identical photographs for passports, identity cards and the like and was therefore mainly used by professional photography businesses like Chan Sam Lock.
