The article speaks of the Tanjung Tualang No. 5 (TT5) Dredge after its been refurbished as an educational tourist attraction. Being one of the only two tin dredges left in Malaysia, the dredge made its debut as one of the 10 icons of Visit Perak year in 2017, the restoration was carried out by the Mentri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc). Built in England by FW Payne and Sons for the Malaysia Mining Corporation Bhd (MMC) in 1938, the dredge was refurbished as an electricity-powered dredge in 1963 and was one of the five tin dredges operating in Tanjung Tualang in the 1970. 

The dredge is open to visitors from 9am to 6pm, Tuesdays to Sundays, with guided tours conducted at 10am, 11am, noon, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm daily. Tickets for MyKad holders are priced at RM10 per adult and RM5 for children aged seven to 12 as well as senior citizens aged 65 and above. For non-Malaysian citizens, the price per ticket for adults and senior citizens are at RM20 and RM10 for children.
