A Business Envelope From The '60s
On 27 August 1964 a registered business envelope was addressed to Mr. Toh Lin Seong, Changkat Kinding Estate, Tg. Rambutan, Perak by Mr. Lee Sek Cheong from No. 8, Jalan Tun Saban, Gerik, Perak. According to the letter it is clear that Mr. Lee was writing to Mr. Toh regarding their previous (and also the first) meeting where they were both introduced to each other, expressing his intention to purchase 150 baby chicks from his poultry farm. The envelope was torn at one end, carrying a blue 50 cents Perak stamp and several chops on the front.
