Remark :
This faded red wooden board with the stencilled white letters "Wakil Pos" represents an era when Post Offices were not widespread in Malaya and certain shops were licensed as Wakil Pos, - Post Office Representative.
Such premises were able to collect mail, sell postage stamps and generally at as postal support to those who could not get to a main Post Office.
The board measures approximately 65cn x 23 cm.
