This diuble page spread in Star Metro dated 18 August 2011 features the 100 year old temple in Bercham for which a grand celebration is planned. This is a unique place with 88 types of Buddhist, Taoist and Hindu deities in a cave. On addition there are also the figures of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. All have been there for more than 100 years claims the Treasurer Sunny Mangal Singh (of Chinese Punjab parentage).
A 60 feet tall dragon is neatly placed on the outside of the cave providing a screen to the mysteries to come.
