Press Cutting - Scotsman Brings Ipoh Heritage To Life
This diuble page spread in the Malay Mail celebrated the soft opening of the Han Chin Pet Soo Museum. It was published on 21 February 2016 some two weeks after the museum opened its doors to the public for the first time. The author of the piece was James Gough, Bureau Head of the Ipoh office at the time.
The article tells the story of the building, once the Hakka Tin Miners' Club and features Ian Anderson, who as the driving force behind Ipoh World Sdn Bhd (ipohWorld) and managed the restoration of the building and designed the museum exhibition layout with original artifacts.
Anderson said that his long-term goal was to set up a permanent heritage centre.
