This article from Star Metro on 13 March 2010 advises that Penang City Council have formed a Community Task Force to check on illegal renovations to old inner-city buildings. The job of the special task force is ti identify and take action on work that violates heritage guidelines.
Perhaps MBI Ipoh should follow suit!
