Ipoh - Where And What It Is
This book chronicles the history of Ipoh and other towns within the Perak state. It contains information on the various financial institutions (such as the Chartered Bank of India) that were operating during bygone times as well as highlighting the many social and sports clubs, associations and guilds of the old; some that still exists today. Moreover, it contains an appendix detailing the history of the Rotary Club of Ipoh and its various charitable activities; boasting its generous contributions to society.
