Remark :

The grandson of the late Leong Sin Nam (a famous tin miner and philanthropist in Ipoh) plans to hold an exhibition to highlight the contributions of his grandfather as well as other Perakians in the Chinese Revolution (which was led by Dr Sun Yat Sen). This exhibition would commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wuchang Uprising of 1911. According to Dr Leong Oon Keong, his grandfather (a Hakka from Guangdong) was one of the founders of the Perak Kaying Association; Leong Sin Nam also bequeathed his bungalow and land in Ipoh to the association.

For the purpose of the exhibition, Dr Leong Oon Keong and the ad-hoc committee requests any form on information from Perakians, with regards to the Chinese Revolution.
