A Pink Silk, Hand Embroidered, Wedding Bedspread And 3 Pillow Cases
This large wedding bedspread was part of our donor's wedding celebration. It is hand-embroidered, probably by herself, with the dragon and the phoenix symbols. In Feng Shui these are the most powerful of the four celestial animals, also considered to be the perfect celestial couple. Complementing each other they create a yin-yang balance necessaty for successful matrimonial bliss. Thus they are the perfect design for a wedding celebration. The picture on the left show one of three pink pillow cases with the same dragon and phoenix embroidered on it.
The same mythical animals are also embroidered on our donor's wedding dinner gown.
