An Advertisement For The New Celestial Dance Bar.
This page is taken fron the souvenir programme for the opening of the Ruby Theatre, Ipoh.
This advertisement promotes the dance bar, part of the Celestial Hotel in the Lam Looking building (built by Towkay Lam Look Ing) which claims to be first class, providing an excellent service. The bar holds 3 types of dance, the Night Dance from 9.15pm to midnight available at $1 for 4 & $2 for 9, the Tea Dance on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 7-9pm available at $1 for 6 also the Tiffin Dance on Sunday from 2.30pm onwards available at $1 for 8. Reservations can be made and there will be an extension on Saturdays and on special days. Hostesses are the 'pick of the town'
