Remark : This water bill, printed in Malay and dated 28th February 1970, was issued to Mr. Kam Saw Tuan from No. 35(51), Chamberlain Road, Ipoh. According to this bill, Mr. Kam is to pay The Works Department $4.60 as the payment for usage of water. At the back of this bill, a reminder to the user is printed stating that the due amount must be paid anytime between 8a.m. to 3p.m. on Monday to Friday and between 8a.m to 11a.m on Saturday; cheques or money order must be paid to the Treasurer of the State of Perak and addressed to the Water Department Office of The Works Department at No.111, Brewster Road, Ipoh. The bill must be paid within 7days from the date of issue and the Department will not hesitate to cut off the water supply to the premise which failed to do so.
