Ipoh First Post And Telegraph Office
This photograph shows the double-storey Post & Telegraph office, which was completed in 1897 at No.155, Ipoh. It was deemed as 'by far the largest and best building of the kind in the State' at the time. In what was called the European Quarter the new Post Office was accompanied by a newly built courthouse, municipal offices and a new house for the Warden of Mines.
