Remark : From left to right the photographs show:

  • The access path down to the ravine is being cleared. The metal pieces in the foreground are removable parts of the Saracen that had to be detached to make it lighter for the recovery work.

  • The chassis of the Saracen minus its removable parts on a low loader. This picture was most likely taken at the REME workshop in Gunung Panjang, Ipoh.
