This is a panorama of Brewster Road (now Jalan Sultan Idris Shah). Compared to previous panoramas (of Brewster Road), the traffic in this picture is heavier. The large building on the left is the Food Control Building. On the right is the Department of Information, with Straits Times sharing the first floor of the building. The car (far right) is seen exiting Laxamana Road, where the New Town Market is located.
