Towkay Leong Tian, His Wives And Family
The photographs show Towkay Leong Tian and his two wives. On the left Liew Soon Yin (1893 - 1957) and on the right his second wife Wong Fah Yin (1903 - 1981). Between the two wives he fathered 20 children, 10 boys and 10 girls, but one of the girls (No 3) passed away as a baby. Unlike most Chinese families who number their children from the first to the last born, Leong Tian numbered boys and girls separately. Below are the details of the children.
