Remark : This series of photographs shows a group of soldiers of the Manchester Regiment with George, a surrendered CT (Communist Terrorist) that was taken in October 1951. John Harding says, “George was a surrendered CT, he led us to his comrades food dump.”

Editor's Note: Surrendered CT's were also known as SEP's (Surrendered Enemy Personnel).

From left to right the photographs show:

  • George is the fifth from left; John Harding is next to him in the front row. John Harding recalls:

“2nd Lieutenant Peter Adcock in white hat shortly after this received some shot gun pellets in his backside courtesy of a CT, we think because of his hat.”

  • George with the CT’s supplies that he helped recover.
