Remark : Above are more images of the 'calm after the storm' that devastated the 15/19 Hussars camp in Ipoh on 18 March 1955 . CSMI Gurney labelled the photos (from left to right) thus:

  • "C Squadron Hut." Not a lot left!

  • "The Band Hut." Again total collapse!

  • "C Squadron Stores." Neatly picked out by the elements while leaving adjacent buildings standing.
