Press Cutting - The Perak Shimbun - Perak Donations
The press cutting from the Japanese single sheet propaganda paper the Perak Shimbun dated December 12 2604 (1944) reports that contributions to the Airplane Fund have been received from different bodies such as the Nippon-zin Dindings, the staff of the police station in Setiawan and Pangkor. In addition Mr Teoh Chong Moh of Guan Ho Co Ltd Ipoh has donated $2000 to the Red Cross Fund. In celebration of the recent victories off Taiwan and the Philippines, all communities in Malai are wholeheartedly giving contributions towards the war funds.
