The photograph (left) was taken on the wedding day of John Arthur Stuart Jennings and Rose Winnifred Jennings. The ceremony took place at St George's Church, George Town, Penang on November 10th 1910. The couple honeymooned at the E&O Hotel in Penang before returning to Ipoh.

On the right is an advertisement taken from The Roda Magazine poster for the Eastern and Oriental Hotel Ltd (the E&O). It reminds patrons that the hotel is situated on the sea front with modern sanitation and excellent cuisine under a European chef. Dinner Dances are held every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and "The Rotarians" lunch at the hotel every Wednesday. The manager is named as A R Jennings.
