The Kinta Golf Club
The picture shows the Kinta Golf Club, in Batu Gajah. (Note the similar design of the building to that of the Royal Ipoh Club)

I knew this place well from 1960 to 1969 when my parents were living in Parit. They often played golf there and I played tennis too. My Father, John Milne, was the Secretary. My mother and father won many trophies while there and I am still using my mother’s silver spoons that say Kinta Club on them! Many happy memories!
