The Bernacchi Story (1) - Malayan Memories
The Bernacchi's lived Malaya from around 1947-1952. M. L. Bernacchi (our donor's father) was the Assistant District Officer in Batu Gajah, back in 1947. At one stage, he took over as the District Officer. About a year later, Bernacchi became the Assistant District Officer of Kuala Kangsar.
The first PDF is from Bernacchi's son Alan - titled "Alan Bernacchi's Malaya Childhood Memories 1947 to 1952"; the second one is from Bernacchi's wife Elaine ("Aspects Of Colonial Life").
The pictures show Mr and Mrs Bernacchi, as well as their children Alan and Rosemary. These pictures were taken in 1951.
