Lee Meng Hin - Father Of Lee Loy Seng And Lee Wan Seng
The picture shows Lee Meng Hin, a successful tin miner. He owned Wan Yuen Kongsi, which began operating in 1905. By 1914, the mine adopted the gravel pump system. After his passing, his company was taken over by his elder son Lee Wan Seng. His younger son Lee Loy Seng was an employee in the same company (before he founded Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad). There is a road in Menglembu named after Lee Meng Hin.
