Paris Bakery Factory
We thank our donor for this picture, of the Paris Bakery factory.
Our donor tells us that:
"The original Paris Bakery was designed by my father – the Danish architect B M Iversen. See a picture of it in my book: Iversen Architect of Ipoh and modern Malaya. It was at Jalan Kuala Kangsar. The bakery advertised its Malt bread that came wrapped in wax paper and electric-sealed with modern machinery in The Straits Times on 9 August 1958.
Their bread was the best in Ipoh then!"
