Remark : This picture shows a visitor inside the Chenderoh Power Station Dam under construction in the early 1920s. Denoted on the photograph is that they were below the water level.
Located in Tasik Chenderoh, near Kuala Kangsar, Perak, this is the oldest hydroelectric dam and the oldest power station in Malaysia. It was constructed by the British Federated Malay States administration for the Perak River Hydro-Electric Power Company Ltd.
