These pictures are from our donor, Nicholas Jennings, taken off the Jennings family album. J A S Jennings (Nicholas' grandfather) was once the Editor of Times of Malaya. The description for these pictures are as follows:

  1. The house where Nigel Jennings (third son of J A S Jennings) was born, back in 1924; this house (which J A S Jennings calls 'Southern Cross') was along Gopeng Road.
  2. The boy standing on the running board is Nigel (the third son of J A S Jennings); at the wheel is Eric Jennings (the eldest son), and seated beside the driver is Rose Winnifred (Freda) Jennings. In the background is the family home (No. 50 Gopeng Road) – which J A S Jennings called 'Midhurst'.
  3. A 1978 picture of 'Midhurst'; Nigel and his wife Aileen are posing in front of the house.
