Remark :

Pipe bowls/dampers were found in many styles and a variety of colours, this one being a green/grey and made of porcelain.

This damper, which came with a simple bamboo pipe, was handmade by one Cheng Kee in Jiànyáng, a county-level city in Nanping prefecture in the northern part of Fujian province of the People's Republic of China. This is an are where many thousands of immigrants to Malaya came from. This octagonally-shaped damper is 8cm in diameter and is decorated around the edge with small designs.
