  • Also in 2009, Bette and Norman Doctor who kindly scanned all these photographs for us from Ken's collection and then provided the descriptions.

  • When the Emergency ended, 55 Company took on the role of training the Armed Forces Maintenance Corps in the art of air supply. Many Malayans won their wings and started to take part in air drop operations. However, despite the emergency being declared at an end, 55 Company continued to bear the responsibility for supply to the Jungle areas and police Forts in Northern Perak and areas close to the Thai border.
