Remark : From left to right the photographs show:

  • The continuation of packing, we had to deliver a lot of building materials for the construction of jungle forts. Even live chickens were dropped to patrols also to provide them with a little fresh meat which must have been a great change from ‘compo’ rations.

  • This photograph shows the Malayan Police delivering supplies to be air dropped to their comrades at arms who are based in the jungle forts and those who are out on patrol.

  • Here the team are packing Dexion angle-iron and corrugated sheeting to be delivered to build the last fort named Fort Betau somewhere between 1958/1959.
