Remark : The Dingo Scout Car was a light armoured car built in Australia during Second World War. They were produced by the Ford motor company in 1942. The Dingo was equipped with a Bren light machine gun and Mk19 wireless. The vehicle's weight restricted it’s off road mobility and the front axle could be bent when travelling over rough terrain.

The photograph shows:

Dennis Marsden on top of a Dingo Scout Car at the Gunong Panjang camp in Ipoh. Dennis records,

“Unbeknown to me at the time I drove this Dingo Scout Car through an ambush they did not attack hence I am alive and able to divulge this information”.
