Remark : This series of photographs shows a military convoy from the Manchester Regiment winding its up to Cameron Highlands from Tapah.

From left to right the photographs show:

  • The beginning of the journey.

  • The first two vehicles in the convoy were the armoured personnel carriers nicknamed ‘sweat boxes’ due to the amount of heat radiated inside these vehicles with their thick armour plating.

  • The Manchester’s on a break; the convoy has halted for a short while; note the Ferret Armoured car in the background patrolling the road.
