Remark :

This photograph shows Belfield Street at the junction with Station Road. The photograph clearly shows the Chung Thye Phin Building (on the right) completed in 1909 and in the hands of Oldfield's Dispensary Ltd and which had previously been the Medical Hall, established by Dr R M Connolly.

Across the road from Oldfield's was the premises of the Japanese photographer I Itoh, a "High-class Photographer and Frame-maker", at No.101-103 Belfield Street. This was one of the four Japanese photo studios, in Ipoh in 1921.

Tasaka's Hairdressing Saloon was at No. 97.
