Remark :
Dulangs were used by women of all races in Malaya to pan tin ore from the river beds and in the tailings of Kinta Valley mines. These three examples on the left above measure 48cm, 52cm and 53cm diameter respectively. Made from a solid piece of wood a dulang would last the dulang washer a lifetime.
