The Jennings' Collection : Nigel Cedric Stuart Jennings At Rose Cottage
These two photographs, both taken at the Jennings highland retreat, Rose Cottage, in the Cameron Highlands. They introduce Nigel Cedric Stuart Jennings, born on December 9th 1924, third son of Jack Jennings.
In the photograph on the left Nigel sits with his younger brother Cedric (our donors father) on the verandah of the Cottage with their Meccano set, steam engine and pedal car. Sitting behind them (left to right) is their mother Rose Winnifred (Jack's wife), her sister Amy, and Harold (second eldest son of Jack and Rose).
The second photograph, also taken at the cottage verandah shows Nigel in his school uniform, which so far we have been unable to identify.
Later, both Nigel and Cedric were sent to school in England.
