Remark : A page from Dato Seri Yuen Yet Leng’s album with the capture of 3 Terrorists at Bukit Kamuning in Sungei Siput on the 9th of September 1958. This was part of SB’s success in the ‘Ginger’ Operations, ie. Jarkman, Junket and finally Jobless and a direct result of the bravery of the Chinese officers within the force, who had gone undercover to infiltrate enemy lines.
Surrendered Enemy Personnel (SEP) Ah Loke escaped from the Special Branch 0n the 12th September 1958 but was recaptured 5 months later in another secret operation.
Pictures of all three CTs are in colour at the left of the page and on the right is the Special Branch team together with the captured CTs, which were taken prior to Ah Loke’s escape.
