The fourth stage of the operation of dredging for tin is shown in the photograph.

The revolving screen of perforated plates allows the high pressure water sprayed from nozzles to force the tin ore through the holes where it is then collected in a tank beneath the screen. From there it flows to the jigs for the next stage of treatment.
