Tin Dredging Operations- Step 006 – The Clean-Up Or Secondary Jigs

The sixth stage of the operation of dredging for tin is shown in the photograph.
From the sump below the primary jigs the tin-ore is pushed up through de-watering cones to the secondary jigs which perform further cleaning of the tin-ore. The layout in this particular dredge shows the secondary jigs beyond the three primary jigs at the left hand of the picture.
