Tin Dredging Operations- Step 008 – Filling The Rubber Buckets
The eighth stage of the operation of dredging for tin is shown in the photograph.
The tin-ore flows from the secondary jigs into rubber buckets ready for transporting from the dredge to the treatment plant for further treatment and concentration prior to being sent for smelting.
Pure Cassiterite or Tin Oxide (SN02) contains over 75% of metallic tin (Sn).
